district, close to fine dining and shopping. An easy

Built in 1780 on a farm, the cabin was moved to Main
Street in the early 1900's and served as a blacksmith's
business for many years. Hardwood floors and wide
beamed ceilings make the living room a favorite gathering
spot. Hand-painted walls and furniture add a special
touch to the decor. The dining room which seats six
is next to the fully equipped kitchen. Fine linens
and fluffy bathrobes as well as other amenities make
guests comfortable. The three bedrooms are located
on the second floor. Each has its own sink set into
an antique dry sink. The house has one full bath with
tub/shower and 2 half baths. Fresh flowers and a seasonal
fruit basket will greet you on your arrival and complimentary
pastries, juices, coffees and teas are provided on
arrival and departure mornings. The Crooked Cabin
is just one of our unique properties in Abingdon's
historic district. It has been written about in Frommer's
Travel Guide to Virginia as well as other publications.
